The Hell of The Ashdown provides various parking options at or close to the HQ venue, Charles Darwin School, Jail Lane, Biggin Hill, TN16 3AU.
These are:
Charles Darwin School - 250 places, available from 8:00 am;
Biggin Hill Squash Club - Jail Lane, Biggin Hill, TN16 3AU. - 50 places, available from: 9:00 am;
Biggin Hill School - Old Tye Lane, Biggin Hill, TN16 3LY - 50 places, available from : 8.30 am;
Public car park at the Top of Stock Hill - 25 places, available from 8:00 am.
There are also numerous parking places on the streets in the surrounding the area. It is VITALLY IMPORTANT that any parking is carried out sensibly, this means if you park in say Old Tye Avenue, the parking MUST be kept to only one side of the road and does NOT stop any residents gaining access to or leaving their own premises and also the road must be kept clear for the passing traffic. Residents have previously said they will have cars removed that obstruct any of their premises, obviously we wish to work with the local residents so please park sensibly. There will also be community police in attendance who will issue parking tickets if any regulations are contravened.
It is vitally important that you follow the appointed marshalls instructions regarding parking, anyone found to be ignoring these instructions will not be allowed to start the event. The event is under enormous pressure from both the local residents and also the school to provide proper marshalled parking.
The head Parking Marshall is Robert Stock, who will be wearing a high vis jacket, along with Steven Casserley and Rob Bulliment will control the parking - their instructions on where to park and how, must be followed to the letter, failure to do so will result in your entry being cancelled.
Please for the sake of the events continuance take these requests on board.
